Sake(Nihonshu) (en:Sake or Rice wine)

When we say simply “sake”, it means “Nihonshu”(rice wine).

Sake is a traditional Japanese alcoholic beverage produced by fermenting rice. The alcoholicity of sake is less than 22%.

As good sake depends on the quality of rice and water, “Shuz┼Ź”(sake cellars) are usually located near some of the best spring waters in Japan.

The people of middle age likes sake, but young people prefer beer more than sake.
